Fans of Polène Paris, rejoice! The French leather brand launches its take on the ubiquitous shoulder bag. Osmo is as unique as it is functional and timeless. Inspired by the French word ‘osmose’, the new bag features interlocking leather segments that seamlessly form a symmetrical body.
The design feature is reminiscent of the Nodde bag, which too is composed of intertwined leather modules with a geometric finish. While staying true to its ethos, the maison puts its minimalist, contemporary touch on the popular late ‘90s style.

Crafted entirely in soft and supple nappa calfskin, a first for the brand, the Osmo measures 22.5 cm wide and 12 cm high. It opens via a magnetic flap closure to reveal a main compartment and interior patch pocket. Thus providing just the right amount of space to hold your daily must-haves, including a phone, SLG, keys and lipstick.
For added versatility, it also comes with an adjustable strap. Wear it either hiked up beneath the underarm or lower for a different feel, depending on your look of the day.
Priced at USD590 via Polène online, the Osmo is now available in five tonal colourways: Black, Chalk, Cognac, Ebony and Taupe. For something a little different, you’ll also find a version in black with contrast stitching in Ecru.
