A bold new foray into modern travel, it combines the German trunk maker’s precision engineering with the fashion designer’s edgy aesthetics. This result in a distinctive piece that embodies the understated sophistication both brands are celebrated for.

Inspired by the bronzed surfaces of sculptures by the likes of Giacometti, Brâncuși or Richard Serra, the exterior of the 55 cm by 40 cm suitcase features a stunning patinated aluminium finish. Utilising a meticulous, manual pigment application process, each piece boasts a unique texture and aged effect that deepens over time.
Open the Original Cabin Bronze via its TSA-approved locks and you’ll find a full-leather interior, a first in Rimowa’s history. Crafted to feel like the touch of black leather glove, the luxuriously soft leather fuses function with fashion. Sourced directly from Rick Owens, it even wraps the adjustable flex dividers that keep items in perfect order during transit.
To top things off, a tactile hair-on cowskin luggage tag accompanies each suitcase, which adds another layer of uniqueness. And with a limited run of just 500 numbered suitcases worldwide, this is surely a collector’s item you won’t want to miss.
