Unveiled at Dior’s spring-summer 2025 ready-to-wear show, Maria Grazia Chiuri’s D-Journey bag departs from their usual demure offerings. Its supple, fluid shape hints towards a fresh outlook, while its utilitarian design caters to modern demands.

Not solely confined to special occasions unlike most of their ladylike bags, the new style promises to be a great constant daily companion. Firstly, a multitude of secure zip pockets complement the generous central compartment. Further allure lies in thoughtful details, such as the gold-tone CD initials on the leather strap. Which you can either wear short across the body or sling longer over the shoulder.
Beyond its outward appearance, the D-Journey is a testament to the savoir-faire residing within Dior’s ateliers. From the initial pattern drafting to the final hand-applied ‘Christian Dior Paris’ seal finding pride of place on the side zip pull, every step is executed with precision.
The bag’s versatility further shines through in multiple sizes and varied material options. Measuring 23 cm by 16 cm, the small (SGD5600) is a compact everyday style. Then comes the medium (SGD6200) size at 31 cm by 17 cm. Finally, the largest (POA) is designed as an oversized hobo, measuring 44 cm wide and 22 cm high.
From full-leather versions ready to 'rough and rumble' come in crinkled calfskin with Macrocannage detailing while those who love their classic monogram will adore the ones offered in timeless #DiorOblique jacquard canvas.
