Interest in Cartier’s sophisticated and minimalist Baignoire watch has spiked these past couple of years. Defined by its elongated, rounded design, the watch that broke with conventional watchmaking norms first debuted in 1912.

However, it wasn’t until 1973 that the Baignoire officially got its name and evolved into the signature oval silhouette that we know today. Since then, the timepiece has seen multiple incarnations. And if you’ve been on the fence about getting one, Cartier unveils four new models that might change your mind.

Firstly, there’s a new mini model powered by quartz movement with a lacquered dial in either black, plum or bronze. The watch’s emblematic gold ribbon encircles the dial, while a monochrome leather strap complements its elegant charm.

Next, you’ll find a more voluptuous version of the mini Baignoire bangle that launched in 2023. Boasting a rigid yellow gold bracelet, the hybrid style with a silver dial and blue steel sword-shaped hands also doubles as a piece of jewellery.

The third addition is a small model that magnifies the preciousness of the Baignoire bangle. Respecting the case’s distinctive curve, a row of 42 brilliant-cut diamonds paves its rose gold bezel, while a diamond similarly tops its beaded crown.

If you prefer even more bling, be sure to check out the last but certainly not least. This bejewelled rendition features a precious mother-of-pearl dial and a varnished black alligator leather strap. No fewer than 227 brilliant-cut diamonds pave the yellow gold bezel, adding depth, texture and wonder.

The new Baignoire models are now available at all Cartier Singapore boutiques at ION Orchard, Takashimaya Shopping Centre, Marina Bay Sands and Changi Airport Terminal 3 Departure Hall, as well as online via the e-store.
