Burberry’s new B Clip Messenger, which debuted on the spring-summer 2025 runway, is an interesting departure from the brand’s recent more structured bag offerings. The soft, unlined messenger embraces a slouchy, relaxed silhouette, thanks to materials like buttery soft calf leather and suede.
The bag’s name comes from the logo-engraved Burberry b dog clip on the front flap. Besides being a fun element that forms the brand’s initial, it also serves as a means to secure the bag. A classic, timeless style that easily dresses up or down, its soft, unlined interior makes it perfect for daily use.
The thick hand-stitched top handle also makes for a comfortable carry. Inspired by equestrian saddles, swing it either from the crook of your arm or the palm of your hands. Plus, with an adjustable webbing strap showcasing the Burberry Check, the B Clip Messenger is sure to become the British fashion house’s next must-have.
There are two sizes to consider, starting with the smaller one at 27.5 cm by 19 cm. Whereas the next size up is slightly wider and taller at 38 cm by 29.5 cm. Both come in Black and Soap for the ones in calfskin leather. On the other hand, the suede version comes in Sweep, a dark olive green hue.
Priced at SGD3950 and SGD4390 for the small and medium sizes respectively, the B Clip Messenger opens a new chapter in Burberry’s ongoing narrative by Daniel Lee.
