East side, best side? Going by the looks of the upcoming Louis Vuitton x Murakami pop-up, it might very well be true. Taking over a shophouse at 72 Joo Chiat Place from 4 to 19 January 2025, the experiential space is a portal into the whimsical universe of Louis Vuitton and Takashi Murakami.
The retail zone, showcasing pieces from Chapter One (the first drop), is the main focus, of course. The Monogram Multicolore in black and white features alongside the whimsical Superflat Panda and Superflat Garden. Bags and accessories depicting these motifs are available for purchase on a first-come-first-served basis.
Sure to be a hot ticket item is the Superflat Panda Cardholder (SGD695) that’s exclusive to the pop-up, so keep an eye out. After purchasing any #LVxMurakami product at the pop-up, shoppers stand to win gifts at the vending machine. These include limited-edition stickers, trading cards and even Tamagotchi toys.

If you have an archival piece from the OG collection that you want to spruce up, head to the dedicated care station. An on-site artisan will refresh your leather goods with paint care and replacement parts, subject to a fee. Whereas certain complimentary services, such as canvas and metal cleaning, and replacing selected parts, depend on availability.
Need a break? Take a load off at the cinema area that plays animated films by Takashi Murakami. These fun and whimsical animated movies are right in line with the graphic motifs of this highly anticipated re-edition collection.

Before leaving the space, don’t forget to drop by the café for a coffee or lemonade. The drinks come in biodegradable Louis Vuitton x Murakami Superflat Panda cups with a matching sleeve. Each purchase also entitles you to a complimentary cookie, perfect for that keepsake photograph or three.
Slots might be currently full at the online pre-registration, but Louis Vuitton will welcome walk-in guests from 4 January 2025. See you there!
