Nestled within extraordinary gardens showcasing the rich biodiversity of Thai vegetation, the café is a spellbindingly beautiful space to sit and dine. Inside, scenography by Korakot Aromdee adorns the walls with enchanting three-dimensional floral and fauna crafted entirely in bamboo. Furniture by creative director of 56th Studio, Saran Yen Panya, further enhances the poetic oasis.
Helmed by three-Michelin-starred chef Mauro Colagreco, Café Dior offers a unique gastronomic experience. The original menu reflects founder Christian Dior’s fervent love of gardens and botany, through symbols of the maison’s identity. The rose, the bee, and the iconic Provençal estate of La Colle Noire, for example, translate into gourmet desserts and sumptuous pastries.
Amongst them, you’ll find a sweet treat that fuses notes of pandan with zesty aromas of combava and lime, alongside pastries starring pistachio vanilla or passion fruit. Also on the menu, an ice cream cup bouquet that combines rose milk with fresh lychee and raspberry, while a series of cocktails encapsulate the essence of flowers like neroli, jasmine and lavender.
Open daily from 10 AM to 9 PM, Café Dior by Mauro Colagrecois is a true voyage for the senses. So the next time you’re in Bangkok, look for it at the Dior Gold House at 1029 Ploenchit Road.
