Under Matthieu Blazy’s visionary direction, Bottega Veneta continues redefining fashion with an inventive approach to materials and design. For example, its latest innovation merges denim’s laidback appeal with the textural richness of bouclé fabric. The combination of softness and structure in denim bouclé lends a fashion-forward appeal to bags like the Andiamo and Wallace.
Firstly, the strikingly modern yet comfortingly familiar fabric forms the latest Large Andiamo for men. Measuring 42 cm by 35 cm, it features sleek navy leather accents and the signature gold-tone knot detail, of course. Besides ample space for a laptop, the roomy interior provides a zip pocket and two open slots. Furthermore, the sliding woven strap lets you carry the bag in several ways, making it a solid companion for any occasion.
The classic denim weave with a yarn-dyed, looped bouclé texture isn’t limited to men either. Which the chic 20 cm wide by 13 cm high Wallace (a shoulder bag) rendered in the new material proves. The dumpling-shape bag features an adjustable press stud leather strap with two handle drop lengths. The shorter style lets you use it as a clutch, while the longer adjustment converts it into an over-the-shoulder bag.
In Singapore, pre-orders are now open for the Large Andiamo (SGD11,270), with shipping slated for January. The Wallace (SGD3150) is already available at Bottega Veneta in Marina Bay Sands and Singapore’s official online store.
