As far as Italian traditions go, the delectable panettone is a quintessential Christmas element. Storied Italian fashion house Moschino continues this tradition by collaborating with Milanese bakery Pasticceria Martesana. The result is a limited-edition treat that marries culinary excellence with a dose of fashion.
This year, the spotlight shines on the Collezione 0 Panettone, available in 1 kg and 100 g sizes. This Italian masterpiece adheres to the strictest Milanese standards while utilising only the finest ingredients. It incorporates Sicilian candied oranges, Calabrian citron, Australian sultanas and Madagascan vanilla to elevate its flavour profile.
Each Collezione 0 Panettone will come in an exclusive tin box designed by Moschino’s creative director, Adrian Appiolaza. Doubling up as a collector’s item, the tin features signature Moschino motifs, from a cloud-streaked sky to a black-and-white chessboard. There’s also a laurel wreath adorned with a red bow. Finally, the black Moschino logo stands out against the vibrant red shopping bag it comes in.
Besides the Collezione 0 Panettone, the Panettone d’Oro makes a return this holiday season. An opulent treat adorned with edible gold leaf, the latter’s distinctive taste profile is legendary. This classic rendition showcases hazelnuts, Tahitian vanilla and gold chocolate icing.
