Following an extensive makeover, Hermès reopens its boutique in Takashimaya Department Store with an additional floor. The redesigned space now spans three levels, an inviting portal to discover the maison’s 16 métiers. Taking inspiration from Singapore’s lush greenery, the store expresses organic shapes through curved walls and interlaced panels.

Geometric botanical patterns on jacquard-wrapped walls evoke a garden in the heart of the city, while oak parquet and terrazzo flooring add textural contrast. House signatures are also apparent throughout, with Faubourg mosaic floors and Grecques lights flanking a selection of artworks and photographs from the Émile Hermès and Hermès collections.

Step through the cherry wood façade and into a contemporary setting clad in warm shades of pink, beige and terracotta. On the first floor, panels of wooden frames and display cases showcase women’s silk, men’s silk and fashion jewellery. Here, you’ll also find a generous space dedicated to beauty and perfume offerings.

For leather goods, the equestrian métier and home offerings, head to the second floor. A green watercolour rug enlivens the space. Then venture further in, where a plush alcove displaying the maison’s fine jewellery and watches awaits.

Last but not least, ascend the suspended staircase to the third floor. There, you’ll find yourself in the women’s and men’s universe, complete with ready-to-wear collections and a stunning circular shoe salon with plush seating.
