Popular The Monsters characters Labubu and Zimomo made their first fashion week appearance earlier this year in Milan. They were spotted front row at Chinese contemporary label Pronounce’s men’s fashion week debut for its fall-winter 2024 collection, which includes a collaboration with Pop Mart.
For their runway debut, Labubu and Zimomo had vivid purple fur, Pronounce’s signature hue, complete with yellow and blue nose and ear details respectively. They also wore outfits featuring the fashion label’s iconic Infinity Rope motif. Indeed, the one that featured in the first Labubu x Pronounce – Be Fancy Now Vinyl Plush Doll in March 2024.
For their second collaboration, fans can look forward to two purple fashionista Labubus with yellow nose and ear details. Both don contemporary outfits and tote accessories from Pronounce, of course.
Firstly, The Monsters Labubu x Pronounce – Wings of Fortune Vinyl Plush (SGD39.90). The smaller of the two measures 11 cm by 22 cm. This includes the hanging loop, a detail which allows you to easily attach the plush as a bag charm. The stylish Labubu wears a removable golden dress with wings on the back and carries Pronounce’s standout Gourd Húlu bag.
Then comes The Monster Labubu X Pronounce – Wings of Fantasy Vinyl Plush Doll (SGD129.90). This larger doll, with a lightning bolt on her right temple, stands at 24 cm by 38 cm. Ready for her close-up, this Labubu accessorises a denim contemporary Mao suit with wings with a removable pair of purple-lens sunglasses, thus showcasing Pronounce’s East-West flair.
The new Monsters Labubu x Pronounce collection launches online via the e-store from 10 AM on 4 October 2024.
