Before Jonathan Anderson became Loewe’s creative director, the Northern Irish designer established his namesake brand in 2008. JW Anderson, with ‘W’ referencing his middle name William, continues to introduce mens and womenswear collections every season. The cornerstone of its leather goods collection, however, is the inimitable Corner Bag.

Its geometric profile with an intended slouch in the middle is perfect for taking on the day in style. It joins a core selection of bags that stand alongside occasional statement-making animal clutches like the hedgehog and pigeon.

JW Anderson dresses up the Corner Bag for fall-winter 2024 with a chunky cotton rope top handle. The twisted two-tone detailing not only adds visual contrast to the smooth leather body. Its tactile nature also beckons your touch.

The chunky gold or silver-tone chain link remains a fixture on the sides, and the bag opens via a top zip closure to a single roomy interior. While you can sling the bag across the body or over the shoulder, this season’s edition seems best carried by hand via the two-tone cotton rope top handle.

With the cotton rope available in three combinations: green/white, fuchsia/black and yellow/brown, the Corner Bag retails at SGD1820 at JW Anderson’s online store.
