Having previously enthused over The Monsters’ beloved Labubu, and explored the various Labubus that come all dressed up. Now that you know what a Labubu is, it’s time to find out more about other The Monsters characters, as well as Labubu’s friends who live in the forest.
01 - Zimomo
Zimomo is the leader of the Labubu elves. While both characters may look similar at first glance, there are some differences that can help you tell them apart. For example, Zimomo has a spiked tail, while Labubu doesn’t have a tail at all. Though both characters now feature a similar face shape, the original Labubu had a squarish face while Zimomo’s is rounder.
If the story series is anything to go by, Zimomo is also twice the size of Labubu. When it comes to figurines, however, this detail may not always be apparent. However, the adorable The Monsters – I Found You Vinyl Face Doll (SGD229.90) sees a tall Zimomo that stands at 58 cm in all its fluffy glory.

02 - Mokoko
With a name that means ‘special’ in elvish, Mokoko is indeed unique. Though she is part of the Labubu tribe, Mokoko is characterised by her pastel pink fur and white belly. She also has curly eyelashes and a cute heart-shape nose to boot.
To date, three versions of Mokoko toys have been exclusively created for Pop Land, a theme park in Beijing, China, that serves as a backdrop for Pop Mart’s popular characters. Version one or V1 is The Monsters – Mokoko Close To Sweet Series, in which the sweetie pie wears only a green bow around her neck and a flower on her head.
Then in V2, The Monsters – Mokoko Fall Into Spring Series, she dons a sheer white lace dress and frilly hat. Finally, for the latest V3 release, The Monsters – Mokoko The Blue Diamond Series pairs a straw sun hat with a baby blue Peter Pan-collar dress with lace details. All three are available as smaller pendants that act as bag charms or keychains, while V1 and V2 also come as larger plush dolls with slidable eyes.
03 - Tycoco
While Zimomo, Labubu and Mokoko look somewhat similar, the other The Monsters characters appear quite different. Take Tycoco, for example, a vegetarian with a skeleton appearance.
Despite his menacing looks, he is shy and gentle in nature. Another fun fact? He is Labubu’s boyfriend and has featured in a number of Pop Mart creations. Most notably in the Valentine’s Day 2024 special (SGD129.90) in The Monsters – Catch Me If You Like Me Series.
04 - Yaya
Another lesser known The Monsters character is Yaya. Another elf, Yaya features pointed horns and wears a prankish grin on a mischievous face. Yaya loves exploring but has a bad sense of direction. It’s not all bad though, because this led Yaya to the Labubu village, where the elf has since settled down.
05 - Spooky
Its name may sound frightening, but the character is cute in its own way. You’ll recognise Spooky by the top of its head that looks like dumpling folds. A quiet and curious creature, Spooky often appears at night, under the moonlight. It also loves lively settings and visiting the Labubu village.
06 - Pato
The Monsters characters can be both good or evil. We’re not sure which category Pato falls into, but the character with droopy ears is a dreamer who is always coming up with ingenious plans.
07 - Pippo
Last but not least, rounding up the list is Labubu’s and Zimomo’s good friend Pippo. The humorous river elf with big ears is known to enjoy life to its fullest. Pippo knows how to have a good time and loves wine tasting and a good party.
