Moynat lovers, rejoice! The French brand undergoes a contemporary refresh with a new creative direction across social media platforms. While the M collection makes a splash in various colours, one style remains an enduring icon at the heart of its leather goods line-up. And in a delightful twist, the Gabrielle family welcomes a new offering called the Gabriella.
The new bag style features several updates to cater to the contemporary individual. Firstly, the familiar trapezoidal shape of the Gabrielle paves the way for the new style’s boxy, structural silhouette. Furthermore, it lacks a top handle, which makes it rather reminiscent of a sleek flap bag.
Yet the curved stitching and iconic M leather cut-out elements stay true to the collection’s DNA. Crafted in lightly grained leather which Moynat describes as Dream Calf, the buttery soft material is not only smooth to the touch and easy on the eyes. It also promises to develop a lovely patina over time, thus giving the Gabriella individual personality.

Currently available in a single size, it measures 22 cm wide and 16.5 cm high. It comes with an adjustable shoulder strap, which you can remove to convert the bag into a handheld clutch. Options include minimalist black with tone-on-tone stitching, while Cognac and the limited-edition Tricolour feature contrasting stitching.
Priced at SGD6300, the Gabriella is available at Moynat boutiques in Marina Bay Sands and Takashimaya Shopping Centre.
