Goyard is certainly on a roll with its 2024 releases. Besides unveiling its beloved Senat pouch in a chic mini size, it introduced new styles such as the Chypre Wallet-Pouch and Vénus Bag Mirror. For its latest offering, meet the refreshing Hirondelle bag, a graceful homage to Goyard’s artisanal heritage.
A testament to timeless elegance with a dose of modern practicality, it takes its name from traditional leather-cutting tools. Its distinctive half-moon silhouette is also as versatile as it is visually striking. The 25 cm by 17 cm style features a combination of Chevroches calfskin and Goyardine canvas. While the leather base and upper give the bag structure, the canvas body resists scratches and the occasional splash.
Goyard also ups its flexibility factor by punching several holes on both ends of the strap for easy length adjustment. Yes, you can wear it long across the body, short over the shoulder or remove the strap entirely so it becomes a chic clutch. The long zipped upper is another plus, securing your essentials whenever you’re out and about.
In Singapore, the Hirondelle is available at Goyard’s standalone boutique in Takashimaya Shopping Centre at SGD2980. Whether you prefer classic black or brighter shades of burgundy, green or yellow, there’s surely a Hirondelle to match. Note that the colours apply to both canvas and leather, except for the bi-coloured Black/Tan combination.
