The Toile de Jouy became a Dior signature soon after the motif graced the walls of Christian Dior’s first store on 30 Avenue Montaigne in 1947. Since then, the poetic drawings have been constantly revisited, adorning the maison’s ready-to-wear, accessories and Dior Maison creations.

This brings us to the new additions to Dior Maison’s Toile de Jouy tableware collection. A tribute to the founding couturier, the reimagined motif decorates an assortment of plates and drinkware. Picture spellbinding pastoral scenes in irresistible shades of blue.

Each piece spotlights a different element of the exquisitely illustrated design. This includes the new set of six dessert plates (SGD1350) and set of six dinner plates (SGD1500). The ceramic objects, teeming with stunning flora and fauna including lions, tigers and trees, make a real tablescape statement.

The new pieces seamlessly complement existing favourites, of course. Consider the porcelain relish dish (SGD490) that features a border of hand-painted foliage, as well as a mug (SGD430) that showcases a reimagined take on the classic design.

There are also other accompanying homeware items that celebrate Dior’s heritage in the matching blue Toile de Jouy print. You can jot down thoughts in a notebook (from SGD100), scent your space with the Hortensia Scented Candle (SGD460) or cosy up with a pillow (SGD1650), all while adding décor points to your home.
