Balenciaga’s Le City bag, a style synonymous with early 2000s fashion, makes its triumphant return. Since launching in 2001, the bag swiftly became associated with an era of eclectic maximalism and unexpected utility. Today, it resurfaces as a reimagined icon, carrying the essence of its past into a contemporary future.
To faithfully recreate this emblematic piece, Balenciaga studied archival styles, and it shows. The bag’s 25-panel construction is masterfully assembled by hand following the original design blueprints. To begin with, it mirrors the exact dimensions and multiple layers of its predecessor.

The new Le City also preserves all the distinctive features, from the reinforced corners adorned with miniature metal buckles to those thimble-like studs. Even the abundant interior and exterior pockets remain.
Available in mini, small, medium and large (from SGD4150), it serves as a versatile companion for the modern individual. Whether carried by its dual top handles or effortlessly slung over the shoulder, the bag adapts to every occasion.
The iconic style also acts as a canvas for personal expression tinged with Balenciaga’s signature flair. Layer on its signature charms, or fill it with SLGs and quirky accessories from the Objects line. Indeed, endless styling possibilities abound with the reimagined Le City.
