01 - Badskin Collagen Bomb Hydrating Ampoule, SGD29 for 400 ML
We’re big on hydration, so often reach for this collagen solution that’s infused with five different types of hyaluronic acid. It instantly quenches skin’s thirst without the weight, making it perfect for layering and prepping skin for the products that follow.
Furthermore, the unfussy product comes in a generous size and offers many ways of use. We like to apply it straight out of the bottle as the first step in our skincare routine. Then we decant some into a spray bottle to work as a facial and body mist throughout the day. Finally, saturate a cotton pad with the watery formula and use it as a treatment mask. BADSKIN
02 - DR.G R.E.D Blemish Clear Soothing Cream, SGD44 for 70 ML
We keep our creams on rotation and turn to this refreshing gel-cream when our combination skin is in need of something neutral and soothing.
Infused with a blend of cica extracts, this helps calm any irritation and redness. Though lightweight in texture, it is still very hydrating and we love how it always leaves skin glowing after. DR.G
03 - Ma:Nyo Pure Cleansing Oil, SGD24.90 for 200 ML
At night, we always double cleanse. Firstly with either an oil or balm cleanser to remove makeup and impurities for the day. Then we follow up with a foam cleanser to ensure skin is clear of any residue. Currently, we’re into this luscious oil cleanser that’s formulated with nourishing plant oils.
Thanks to its rich texture, a little goes a long way. It also provides just the right amount of slip if you like to give your face a relaxing massage like us. Besides effortlessly dissolving makeup, it also keeps skin moisturised even after rinsing. MA:NYO
04 - Torriden Dive In Serum, SGD21.50 for 50 ML
If you’re looking for a no-frills hydration staple that’s fragrance-free and gentle on skin, then consider this lightweight serum. We like that it doesn’t come with the stickiness or heaviness like many other serums. Instead, this absorbs quickly to replenish, plump and soothe.
For days when skin feels drier than usual, we like to apply two layers of this before sealing in all that goodness with a face cream. This results in the perfect lit-from-within glow. TORRIDEN
05 - VT Reedle Shot 100 Essence, SGD47 for 50 ML
We’re really into this ‘microneedling in a bottle’ essence that works to tackle pore and skin texture concerns. Unlike the usual skincare delivery systems, this uses needle-shaped microscopic spicules to allow actives to penetrate deeper while delicately stimulating the skin. The Reddle Shot 100 is of lower intensity and though it is suitable for daily use, we prefer using it every other day.
We first spread the gel-textured product on freshly cleansed skin before pressing the product in. There’s a slight prickly sensation that’s usual with the application, but that goes away rather quickly. Our favourite way to enjoy this? With the application of a calming sheet mask right after.
