Celebrating its 20th anniversary with a renewed spirit, Dior’s iconic Chiffre Rouge timepiece makes a breathtaking comeback. Originally launched in 2004, this timepiece captivated watch enthusiasts with its distinctive features. Come 5 July 2024, Dior is unveiling a stunning new iteration known as the Chiffre Rouge Rainbow.

The original Chiffre Rouge sports a bipartite, asymmetrical case that combines sporty elements with a stylish edge. A prominent ‘bumper’ at the three o’clock position hints at the functionality of tool watches, yet the overall design maintains a sleek and sophisticated profile.

The new creation bridges tradition and transformation, elevating the style’s signature boldness to an unparalleled level of elegance and couture flair. The red crown, a symbol of heritage and legacy, continues to remain a prominent feature. But the true magic of the Chiffre Rouge Rainbow lies in its mesmerising dial and bezel.

In an irresistible display of artistry, the white gold dial features meticulously paved diamonds forming the iconic Cannage motif. Surrounding this dazzling display is a rose gold bezel adorned with a spectrum of gemstones. Sapphires, amethysts, peridots, tsavorites, tourmalines and rubies line up neatly to form a captivating rainbow effect. A black second hand and bracelet add further depth and contrast.

Complete with an automatic movement visible through the caseback, the Chiffre Rouge Rainbow isn’t a mere statement piece. Designed for versatility, Dior offers interchangeable straps in precious leather or rubber. Each strap features coloured variations of the Macrocannage detailing, perfectly complementing the watch’s vibrant rainbow theme.

At a comfortable 38 MM size, the Chiffre Rouge Rainbow also transcends gender boundaries. With only 100 pieces available worldwide, it’s poised to become a treasured addition for any discerning watch collector.
