Celine’s MTO Service Arrives In Singapore For A Limited Time

Celine introduces a Made-To-Order service that lets you have the crocodile handbag of your dreams. Following the vision of creative director Hedi Slimane, this empowers discerning clients to personalise the maison’s most iconic silhouettes. And the process includes choosing from a stunning spectrum of 24 curated colours.

Celine ateliers near Florence, Italy, can now turn the Triomphe, Claude, and 16 handbags into bespoke masterpieces. The Claude and Triomphe feature the larger scales of the Niloticus, while the 16 showcases the Porous crocodile’s more delicate ones. But firstly, each crocodile skin undergoes a rigorous selection process to identify the ideal match in both colour and size.

Utilising an average of four to five skins per bag, the artisans prioritise the finest cuts, predominantly from the prized belly. This approach, performed entirely by hand, optimises the use of the skins while integrating every element seamlessly into the final masterpiece.

When it comes to the MTO service, you get to select from a palette of 24 captivating shades. Timeless classics like Noir and Tan find their place alongside bolder expressions in Azur and Rose Antique. Neutral tones, from the depth of Anthracite to the soft elegance of Gris Perle, offer sophisticated versatility.

Bleu Glacier introduces a touch of whimsy, while Vert Amande brings its pastel charm. For a truly striking statement, go for metallic options in Argent (silver) and Or (gold). Finally, the coveted Naturel shade, reserved for the Claude and Triomphe styles, adds a touch of understated elegance.

After selecting your desired shade, decide between gold and silver for the logos and hardware. As a final touch of exclusivity, personalise the interior of your bespoke creation with up to three initials, excluding periods. This MTO service is available at the Celine boutique in Marina Bay Sands till 1 July 2024, so don’t miss out if this is your dream.
