With more power comes more possibilities, as Apple’s M2 chip promises a significant leap in performance. Expect faster processing, smoother graphics and enhanced capabilities for demanding tasks and creative workflows, including those that leverage AI. The 13-inch high-resolution Liquid Retina display further caters to those desiring a larger canvas for work, learning, entertainment and gaming.
In another move, the front-facing camera now graces the landscape edge of the iPad Air. This makes it a perfect placement for all those increasingly commonplace video calls.
With Apple Pencil Pro compatibility, artists and designers can also take full advantage of the iPad Air as a powerful tool for creating graphics, illustrations and so much more.
Complementing the powerful M2 chip is the enhanced Wi-Fi for seamless online experiences. Cellular models take a step further with support for 5G connectivity, keeping users well-connected on the go. The new device retains its reputation for long-lasting battery life, so work or play throughout the day without worry.
Aside from the classic Starlight and Space Grey, the new iPad Air will come in Blue and Purple for both the 11-inch and 13-inch models. In Singapore, prices start from SGD899 with an official launch slated for 15 May 2024.
