The Alma is not just one of the most iconic bags at Louis Vuitton. It is also one of the maison’s earliest handbag styles that’s been around since the early 1930s. Since then, the top-handle dome-shaped trapezoid bag which was named after the Palace de l’Alma in Paris been reinterpreted countless times. The latest rendition is the sleek and adorable Alma Backpack.

Introduced at the women’s spring-summer 2024 show, the streamlined style now sports a more elongated silhouette. It also comes with removable straps for multiple ways of wear. Crafted in heritage monogram canvas, the stylish city bag measures just 15 cm by 20 cm.

The Alma Backpack also features all the iconic Alma details. These include the rounded top handle (just one), engraved gold-tone padlock and signature key bell. And of course, zips that go all around (from the sides upwards) for easy access to the main compartment. There’s an interior back pocket within as well.

Equal parts functional and versatile, the darling mini lets you tote almost anything via its single top handle. For hands-free wear, you can attach the adjustable strap to transform it into either a backpack or stylish crossbody.

Priced at SGD3750, the Alma Backpack in monogram is available at Louis Vuitton boutiques. Alternatively, shop online via the maison’s e-store and enjoy complimentary delivery to your door. You’ll also find the backpack in Epi leather at SGD3900, in two colour options, Noir and Orange.
