The name might be relatively new to the world of luxury bags, but its history has deep roots in French leather craftsmanship. Named after the 18th-century entrepreneur, the brand aims to revive the spirit of innovation and quality that defined his legacy. And the cornerstone of the Joseph Duclos collection is the Diane bag.

Besides taking its name from the Roman goddess of the hunt, the bag also embodies the powerful femininity she represents. Its minimalist rectangular silhouette comes with a shiny metallic band that goes around the gusset. The iconic arrow-shaped clasp, inspired by the mythological bow, is another unique touch. The spacious interior is completely lined in leather, with an extra slip pocket at the back.

Artisans at the Joseph Duclos atelier hand-stitch each piece, so you can expect qualities such as clean edge paint work and all-round smoothness. Taylor Swift fans spotted her carrying the chic Diane in March, further solidifying its status as a must-have accessory.

While it debuted in Heritage leather in larger sizes, Joseph Duclos recently introduced the smaller Diane 15. It comes in the durable new Tempo leather, a natural full-grain calf leather with a slightly matte finish. Measuring 15 cm by 15 cm, it seamlessly transitions from day to night, adding sophisticated elegance to any outfit. Aside from toting the top handle, you can also opt to attach its adjustable shoulder strap.

The Diane 15 is currently available in Bleu Occitan, Camélia, Kaki and Marron Glacé at the boutique at 54 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré. Joseph Duclos also offers worldwide shipping from its online store, with an option to switch to SGD upon checkout.
