The cute and compact mini #CHANEL22 bag quickly became a go-to favourite after its launch about a year ago. The tiny wonder is surprisingly functional too, able to hold many essentials for a good day out. And until now, it was also the only size in the #CHANEL22 family that came with a fixed crossbody sling.
Named for the year of its ‘birth’, the #CHANEL22 comes in three other sizes. Besides the littlest of the lot and the subject of this post, there’s also the small, regular and large. All four sizes come with a leather-interlaced metal chain for shoulder carry, while the Mini is the only one with the additional strap, which this update now renders detachable.
The updated sling, which comprises both a leather and leather-interlaced metal chain, features a lobster clasp on either end. This means you can attach it to both sides of the 20 cm by 19 cm darling and go hands-free. Alternatively, leave it off if that better suits your outfit of the day.
Aside from the welcome feature update, there are also new colourways to enjoy the style in. Choose from two-tone calfskin in either black and white or black and red. Yet another to consider comes in washed denim with mini pearl embellishments.
