Create Lip Colours With YSL Beauty’s Rouge Sur Mesure

Are you a lipstick lover on an eternal search for that perfect lippie? Well, if you dream of creating your own lipstick shades, then here’s some good news. YSL Beauty’s innovative Rouge Sur Mesure is finally here in Singapore, so your dream is about to come true.

The at-home lipstick maker is an app-powered device that lets you whip up as many bespoke colours as you wish. You can slot three colour-rich cartridges from seven shade families into the sleek black device at any one time. Do note, however, that mixing different colour families is not advisable.

Next, using the companion app, begin experimenting as much as you like. There is a shade matching function that lets you select a colour based on a picture. Or you can try the shade stylist function, which generates colour options based on your outfit of the day. Alternatively, simply pick from the colour wheel and digitally try on a colour before you proceed.

Once you’ve decided on your lip colour, simply tap ‘create’ and the smart little device will ‘print’ out your creation. You can choose how much lip colour you would like to make, whether it’s just enough to test or to wear several times.

The lip colour dispenses onto a removable quilted vegan leather compact fashioned after Saint Laurent’s iconic chevron quilt and embellished with the unmistakable gold Cassandre logo. The compact lid also comes with a travel pouch and retractable lip brush for easy touch-ups on the go.

In case you were wondering what the lipstick formula is like, it is velvet to the touch with a matte finish. Infused with an emollient oil cream base, it offers up to five hours of comfortable stain wear.
