Each bag tells a beautiful story at Delvaux, and the Léonce is no exception. Julie, an artisan working in the Belgian brand’s design studio, inherited a vintage bag from her grandmother. Since the early 70s, the boxy satchel held paintbrushes on her travels around the world as an artist. Unlike anything in Delvaux’s archives, its charming good looks inspired the new creation that’s named after Julie’s grandmother.
The bag’s distinctive shape is reminiscent of an envelope pouch, but with the addition of a signature D-shaped buckle. This silhouette extends across a larger collection that includes a shoulder bag in two sizes, as well as a clutch. A slight luminous glow and distinctive grain further elevates the Léonce, thanks to the use of Opera calf, one of Delvaux’s prized leathers.

Embodying Delvaux’s craftsmanship and thoughtful approach to design, the Léonce comes in colours like Black, Night Sky, Rosewood and Tan. In such timeless hues that transcend seasons and trends, the sophisticated leather pairs with gold or silver metallic hardware.
The Léonce launches in small and PM sizes, measuring 19 cm by 14.5 cm and 23.5 cm by 18 cm respectively. The sleek Léonce Clutch, which you either carry in hand or tuck under the arm, comes in at 28 cm by 19.5 cm. Which will it be for you?
