Balenciaga’s Fall-Winter 2024 show invitation was all about vintage Parisian charms sourced from eBay. It’s clear as day that Demna intends on launching even more quirky accessories with one of the most creative fashion show invites yet. But for now, the Rodeo bag takes the spotlight on the arms of celebrities like Yang Chaoyue and Krit Amnuaydechkorn.
But it’s not the ordinary Rodeo they are carrying. Instead, it’s a limited-edition piece that piles on extra Balenciaga charms for an accessory-obsessed effect. Adding extra charm to the handles and leather pull tabs, they include a heart-shaped carabiner and Balenciaga shopping tag. There are even miniature leather SLGs.
This Rodeo will only be available in the large size, with its smooth calfskin leather getting a slightly worn-in treatment to match the aged-silver hardware. Word has it that only two pieces will be available in Singapore come launch day in March, so this is as exclusive as it gets. Its retail price? Just shy of the 15k mark, with a SGD14,950 price tag.
