Making a shift from distinctive designs that highlight logos and hardware, Balenciaga introduces the Rodeo for Spring-Summer 2024. The new leather style, with a unique asymmetric profile, draws its inspiration and name from Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills.
And it truly embodies that casual Socal vibe too. For example, the bag’s front compartment has a flap that is actually meant to stay open. But no worries, because a turn-lock clasp will secure your valuables within the main body. Supple calfskin leather, one that will develop a natural patina over time, further emphasises its relaxed look.
With smooth, glove-grade nappa lambskin lining, the Rodeo is equally sumptuous on the inside. Two snap buttons on the sides allow the Rodeo to expand whenever you need extra space. There are also two flat pockets on the back for cards and other quick-access items.

Carrying the bag is straightforward, with the top handle long enough to sling over the shoulder. Alternatively, the removable shoulder strap will keep the supple leather bag close to your body if you prefer. Balenciaga’s Rodeo launches in Singapore on 26 February, with three sizes to choose from.
The smallest measures 29 cm by 20 cm, while its larger counterparts come in at 35 cm by 23 cm and 40 cm by 30 cm respectively. A separate launch is slated for the collector’s edition of the Rodeo, which comes with an elaborate assortment of charms. Expect heart-shaped carabiners, lockets and keys-on-chain, and a Balenciaga retail tag, amongst others.
With prices starting from SGD4350 for the small size, going up to SGD5550 for the medium and SGD6550 for the large, Balenciaga is looking to switch things up with the full-leather Rodeo bag.
