Prada rings in the Year of the Dragon with elegance, unveiling its official Lunar New Year editorial starring Chinese supermodel Du Juan. The campaign, shot at the Prada Rong Zhai residence in Shanghai, exudes a deep, cinematic colour palette. Among the campaign’s stars making their debut is the Buckle Bag from Prada.
Letting its minimalistic beauty speak for itself, it is part of the Spring-Summer 2024 collection. In supple grained leather, the roomy hold-all opens to reveal a central slip pocket neatly dividing two roomy compartments.
In two sizes, measuring either 28 cm by 18 cm or 35 cm by 25 cm, the Buckle Bag features belt detailing that seems to slide along the top of the bag and its handles. You can leave it loose for a relaxed vibe or buckle it for that cinched look.
Singapore is currently retailing the Buckle Bag at SGD5500 and SGD6800 for small and medium respectively. Whether you prefer it in Black or Caramel, you could also say this functional piece takes inspiration from belted pants which is as quirky as it gets.
