Just as the Book Tote is dominating the women’s line as far as #DiorOblique goes, the Safari range is doing the same for Dior Men. Case in point, the latest version by Kim Jones and the ateliers at the French fashion house. Fun and functional all at once, the Safari North-South Tote comes in the distinctive jacquard canvas with grained calfskin elements.
To put things in perspective, north-south refers to bags that come in a vertical shape. As opposed to the east-west format, which points to horizontal bags with a wider, landscape profile. A new launch for Spring-Summer 2024, the Safari North-South Tote Bag comes in two sizes that serve different needs.
Firstly, think of the mini as a handy but casual offering for weekends or short travels. Measuring 19 cm by 14 cm, it’s suitable for holding your mobile phone, wallet and AirPods. Measuring 23.5 cm by 21 cm, the regular size contains ample space for additional and slightly bigger items. For example, an A5 agenda, a small umbrella and several other bits and bobs.
Both sizes feature an adjustable nylon shoulder strap for extra versatility, as well as D-ring that’s perfect for attaching accessories and bag charms on the front. Retailing at SGD2450 for the mini and SGD3300 for the regular, Dior’s Safari North-South Tote is available in Beige and Black #DiorOblique.
