Coperni made waves in 2022 when it conjured a spray-on fabric dress in the middle of its Spring-Summer 2023 runway show. In collaboration with Fabrican, the French fashion label worked its magic by spraying the liquid (comprising fibres like wool, mohair and cotton) directly onto Bella Hadid’s body.

Intent on pushing the boundaries of fashion further, Coperni continues creating partnerships with specialised artisans. Its goal is to create statement-making pieces for the everyday. In comes these sculptural glass bags handcrafted by master glassblowers in Saint-Mihiel.

A region in France famous for its rich tradition in this art form, each glass bag is clearly unique. Without the use of moulds or machines, the skill and artistry of the craftsmen come to light. The smooth, curved lines resemble Coperni’s classic Swipe Bag, but in a semi-transparent look that reveals the contents within.
