Celine’s upcoming Tilly Bag is making waves online, with at least two instances that saw Lisa (of K-pop girl group Blackpink) carrying the bag in Bangkok. Firstly, she toted the Triomphe Canvas version when dining at Jay Fai with her family. The second iteration in black leather then shared her limelight at the official launch of the Celine Siam Paragon boutique.
While some might liken the Tilly Bag to another familiar favourite, the Ava, there are several differences between the two. At 22 cm by 13.5 cm, the Tilly Bag’s wider and broader shape will fit a tad more within. It also has a much longer strap, ranging from 21.5 cm to 28 cm, for slinging over the shoulder.
Peek within and you will notice that the zip detailing doesn’t protrude outwards in the Tilly Bag. Instead, it tucks slightly below the edges of the opening. Available in Triomphe Canvas and shiny calf leather, the Tilly Bag retails at SGD3100 and SGD3450 respectively, with these bags slated for a February 2024 launch.
