Chanel’s standalone Watches & Fine Jewellery boutique at Takashimaya Shopping Centre finally reopened. Not only is it significantly larger at 1350 square feet, the new boutique will also carry some of the most outstanding pieces from the world of haute horlogerie, as well as high and fine jewellery from the French maison.
New York-based architect Peter Marino has reimagined the entire space, complete with design elements close to the heart of Chanel. Five key colours, namely beige, black, gold, red and white, seamlessly integrate together with a generous touch of gold to elevate the interior.

A panel of Coromandel screens (a personal favourite of Mademoiselle Chanel) with mother-of-pearl inlays takes pride of place in the VIP salon. Finishing touches include an antique sculptural desk by Louis XV, alongside 11 works of art spread throughout the space.
