Louis Vuitton’s Epi leather is seeing a resurgence, appearing in all-new formats in Fall-Winter 2023 menswear and womenswear collections. The guys can look forward to an upsized treatment with the Epi Soft XL, while the ladies get to welcome a fun new style. Meet the Hide & Seek handbag.
The new style incorporates elements from house archives, namely the single rolled Toron handle for enhanced grip. Then there’s the chic S-lock closure that harks back to heritage trunks. It also comes with a removable and adjustable shoulder strap, which attaches easily to the ring loops for hands-free days.
If you’re wondering why it’s called the Hide & Seek, you’re not alone. It’s possibly an allusion to the fact that the S-lock closure hides under a layer of leather, a detail that adds a little mystery to the typically shiny hardware. Nevertheless, the monogram-free tone-on-tone look with matching trimmings and Epi leather base is one that's also easy on the eyes.
The best part? You get a choice of three fun hues, namely Lilas Provence (purple), Quartz (beige) and Vert Noto (green), with Noir (black) for those who prefer a solid classic. There’s only one size for now, measuring 21 cm wide and 15 cm high. The roomy microfibre-lined interior is surely adequate for holding all your daily essentials.
