Everyone knows N°5 as the ultimate Chanel fragrance. But did you know N°5 also lends its name to a fine jewellery collection centred around the exquisite lucky charm?
This July, Chanel's Fine Jewellery Creation Studio introduces seven new creations laced with diamonds tracing the outline of, you guessed it, the number five. Indeed, five isn’t just a number. Especially at Chanel, where it represents so much more.

It was not only Mademoiselle Chanel’s lucky number corresponding with her zodiac (the fifth sign), but also the day she introduced her couture collections to the world. It also relates to life and movement in numerology, thanks to its distinctive curvature that represents freedom and fluidity.

Embodying these traits in 18k beige gold are the Extrait de N°5 Necklace (SGD5050), Extrait de N°5 Bracelet (SGD5100) and Extrait de N°5 Ring (SGD5800). Each showcases five brilliant-cut diamonds in an oval tear-drop charm, as well as a brilliant-cut diamond set centrally within the graphic digit. Either wear them individually or stack them with other Chanel fine jewellery creations like Coco Crush or Comète.
Next, transformable jewellery rises to new heights with the Eternal N°5 Transformable Earrings (SGD46,750). Designed for wearing in two different ways, you can let the long pendant trail behind the ear lobe. Or remove it altogether and wear the ‘5’ as a pair of ear studs. Whether you dress up or down, the rhodium-plated 18k white gold earrings showcase 72 brilliant-cut diamonds totalling 2.23 carats.
Then comes three Eternal N°5 rings to rule them all. The first is a classic band in 18k beige gold (SGD12,950), featuring a central brilliant-cut diamond (0.25 carat). 19 smaller brilliant-cut diamonds make up the graphic contours of the ‘5’. The other two, which appear like tiaras from the front, offer even more bling.
The central diamond measures 0.35 carats, while 30 brilliant-cut diamonds totalling 0.67 carats complete the ‘5’. The 18k beige gold Eternal N°5 Ring goes for SGD21,450, while the 18k white gold version retails higher at SGD22,500.
