After making its debut more than a decade ago, Valentino’s Rockstud is making a smashing comeback. Designed by creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli, it returns this season as a refreshing new style called the Rockstud23. The pyramid-shape studs decorate the edges of the leather bag, adding a slight punk-rock touch to its overall aesthetics.
The studs on the pink and white bags feature a tone-on-tone finish instead of the usual gold or palladium. This treatment effect is possible thanks to an extra enamel coating. But if you prefer more shine, just go for the ones in full mirror-effect calfskin and solid black, as both of these come with studs that carry a slick look.
The Rockstud23 is available in two sizes for your consideration. The small measures 18.5 cm by 12 cm, while the standard stands at 23 cm by 13 cm. Both come with a shoulder strap adjustable to four different drop lengths ranging from 24 cm to 54 cm, allowing for varying styling choices for daily wear.
With the Rockstud23 destined to be a new classic at the house, prices range from SGD3740 to SGD4200 for the smooth calfskin bags, with the mirror-effect small shoulder bag coming in at SGD4040.
