On 21 June 2023, arguably the most eagerly anticipated show of the season was presented on Pont Neuf. The oldest bridge in Paris set the stage for Pharrell Williams’ debut collection as creative director for Louis Vuitton Men. Think streetwear sensibilities intertwined with sharp tailoring, all executed to perfection as it came down the runway.
Right from the get-go, Louis Vuitton’s Damoflage (when Damier meets camo) stole the spotlight. Ready-to-wear and accessories featured a mix of camouflage tones on the chessboard graphic pattern. Williams also worked with American pixel artist ET Artist to create a digitalised version called the 8-Bit Atari Damier. This 3D pigment-effect print appeared on both denim and Damier leather pieces.

Next came the colourful Monogram Speedy bags you saw on Louis Vuitton’s poster with Rihanna before the show. These new interpretations do not come in coated canvas, but full supple-grain leather with natural vachetta trimmings. This results in a rather relaxed silhouette that takes on different forms, depending on how you use it.
No Louis Vuitton collection is complete without trunks, of course. This time, Monogram Copper was one of the main highlights at the Spring-Summer 2024 show. For final touches to your outfit, channel that more-is-more look with Super Zoom sunglasses and an assortment of glamping caps.
If the Paris runway spectacle showed us anything, it’s that Pharrell Williams is throwing quiet luxury out of the park. In fact, Louis Vuitton looks set on claiming the top spot of logo-centric looks of the season. Join the resounding chorus of joy as we wait for the arrival of Louis Vuitton's #LVMenSS24 collection.
