It’s monogram mania with Valentino’s latest Toile Iconographe line which depicts the house logo in a repeated over-the-top format. Paying homage to 70s fashion, the VLogo motif splashes across durable toile canvas on accessories like hats and belts. It also appears on SLGs and bags, as well as the ladies pret-à-porter (ready-to-wear) range.

One standout piece is the La Cinquieme Toile Iconographe Bucket Bag which measures 21 cm high (excluding the top handle) and 14 cm wide. The bucket bag comes in goatskin leather, with cut-out detailing that forms the beautiful shell-like exterior of the bag.

Nestling within is Valentino’s toile fabric drawstring pouch with the signature VLogo detailing all over. Together, the two elements form an eye-catching piece for daily use. You can carry it either by hand via the top handle or the detachable shoulder strap.

Mesmerising from every angle, the La Cinquieme Toile Iconographe Bucket Bag is retailing at SGD4180 in Singapore, at ION Orchard and Marina Bay Sands. It is also available on Valentino’s online store and will appear in two colours. Both Beige/Black and Beige/Red canvas are paired with brown and red leather elements respectively.
