Celebrate 10 Years Of Louis Vuitton’s Pochette Métis With A New Style

Can you believe that the Pochette Métis turns 10 this year? After its debut in 2012, the crossbody flap bag rose through the ranks with its classic good look and an easy-to-use format.

Whether you chose the OG signature monogram or Monogram Reverse, both styles came with a natural leather handle and trunk-inspired S-lock closure that made it a house favourite over the years.

And the 10th year of the Pochette Métis sees a new addition known as the Pochette Métis East West. It’s smaller in terms of width (21.5 cm) and height (13.5 cm) in comparison to the original Pochette Métis (25 cm by 19 cm).

The good news? The Pochette Métis East West is long enough to fit an iPhone, wallet and several beauty essentials. Besides multiple inner compartments, there’s also a zipper pocket behind for extra storage.

The single top handle and adjustable Monogram Canvas shoulder strap offer standard ways of carrying the bag. But something new on this east-west style is the removable gold-tone chain with a 19 cm drop length. Keep it on as a bag charm/accessory or use it as a dressier strap; the choice is yours.

For now, the Pochette Métis East West (SGD4000) only comes in Monogram Canvas with natural leather detailing. And it is best appreciated up close at Louis Vuitton ION Orchard, Marina Bay Sands and Takashimaya Shopping Centre.
