Ever imagined what would happen if Louis Vuitton’s Lockit and Montaigne had a child? The result would be the Palais tote. It comes in two sizes, Petit Palais and Grand Palais, both sporting signature elements of the two.
The trapezoid shape and folded sides are adopted from the Montaigne (launched in 2014), while the top zip upper and signature gold-tone lock takes inspiration from 2011’s it bag, the Lockit. Blend them together and you have a solid all-in-one, giving you a stylish option for both work and play.
Contrary to its name, the Petit Palais (SGD3800) isn’t exactly tiny at 29 cm wide and 18 cm tall. The Grand Palais (SGD4000), on the other hand, is significantly bigger at 34 cm by 24 cm. This is large enough to hold A4 documents, along with an iPad.
Both the Petit Palais and Grand Palais come in monogram coated-canvas with a bright red lining. There are two inner flat pockets and a zip compartment to keep your essentials safe and secure.
But if you need more space, both sizes have two outer flat pockets. Positioned below the top handles, they are perfect for slipping notes into without needing to unzip your bag. Carry this handy style via the Toron top handles or natural cowhide shoulder strap.
The Palais is also available in full-leather options, with Bicolour Monogram Empreinte and Monogram Empreinte sporting oversize Louis Vuitton motifs. Prefer the original? You can always rely on the classic Monogram Canvas, complete with a luggage tag and gold-tone LV lock.
