Dior’s Fall-Winter 2022 collection is descending into boutiques all over the world. In other words, it’s time to take a look at new interpretations of the beloved Book Tote once again. This time, the roomy carryall is ‘dressed’ in Dior Brocart, a refreshing motif with a play on the word ‘brocade’ (a rich textured fabric with raised patterns) and ‘art’.

Brocade tends to have a shiny appeal due to the interweaving of gold and silver threads. This is evident in the metallic embroidery for the Medium Book Tote (SGD5000). It will come in blue, green and pink Dior Brocart, each slightly different in terms of arrangement of the enigmatic floral pattern.

For those who don’t already know, the medium is now the second largest size of the Book Tote. Measuring 36 cm wide and 27.5 cm high, it is big enough for day-to-day use (a 13-inch MacBook fits comfortably). Or you can also consider it for weekends or as a stylish hand-carry for a quick trip abroad.

The Dior Brocart motif also appears in the denim-effect canvas, a discreet option for those who prefer a non-metallic version. A similar floral embroidery in deep blue decorates the large size, adding a more-is-more effect on the 42 cm by 35 cm Book Tote (SGD5100).
