Get ready to enter the season of the Panthère, as Cartier gets set to celebrate the icon. This time, with a line-up of leather bags that expound on the French jeweller’s love for the art of living. An icon of desire and symbol of power, strength and freedom, the majestic Panthère comes to life on jewellery, timepieces, and now, this gorgeous extension of Panthère de Cartier handbags.

The 3D-effect hardware serves as the bag’s front-facing clasp. It sets the tone as a fierce yet sophisticated symbol on the soft-grain leather bag. Designed in collaboration with an expert high jewellery sculptor, each panther head is cleverly fitted with eleven leather inserts. Positioned within the shiny architectural hardware, it also matches the colour of each bag.

Another key characteristic lies in its voluminous silhouette. Its almost puffy texture is reminiscent of a leather pillow when held within the palm of your hand. Cartier also ensures that there are no sharp edges or visible seams on the bag. Rather, the sides delicately curve and fold inward to create an elegant look.

The extra leather pad lets it rest comfortably on your shoulder, giving you a chic leather bag that’s all about form and function.

Set to be launched on 20 September, it will come in two distinct sizes. The mini and small sizes which retail at SGD4250 and SGD4700 respectively will come in seven colours to love. From darker shades like black and navy blue, while beige, creamy white, pale yellow, petrol blue and red make up the brighter hues.
