In a world of same-same, Bottega Veneta stands out in creating bags that are definitely different. Unique shapes, interesting finishes, unexpected hardware, it just goes on and on.
And with their new collection, creative director Matthieu Blazy chose to carry on the legacy by creating another one-of-kind style. While the bucket shape is pretty standard, it comes with foulard intreccio leather on the exterior, finished with a useful leather sling strap.
Called intreccio or intrecciato (Italian terms that translate to ‘intertwined’ and ‘intertwining’ respectively), this signature diagonal woven style is also one of the most iconic signatures at the Italian fashion house.
Bottega Veneta calls it the Kalimero Bucket and it comes in three colours, Black, Dark Green and Pollen for the season. All easy hues that will pair well with fall-winter outfits like long dresses or tailored jackets with leather pants.
Each Kalimero Bucket has a structured top handle crafted in the same foulard intreccio leather as the bag’s body. A detachable leather strap offers extra ways to carry it across the body or on the shoulder. As is true with most bucket bags, it features an open-top format without zips. For extra security, a single drawstring canvas pouch lies within.
Priced at SGD8210, the Kalimero Bucket is available at Bottega Veneta Singapore’s online store, as well as the boutique in ION Orchard.
