Love recreating parts of Balenciaga’s runway looks daily? Well, you can start by getting your hands (and shoulders) on the Lindsay Small Shoulder Bag. It first appeared on Looks 13 and 45 of ‘The Lost Tape’, the French fashion house’s Fall-Winter 2022 show.

The bag has made its way to Balenciaga boutiques at Marina Bay Sands and Paragon Shopping Centre. There are five different colours/styles to choose from. There’s Bright Green and Lilac in shiny smooth calfskin, while matte supple embossed crocodile comes in Black and White. The last, a special Silver pleated mirror calfskin, is only up for pre-orders, with shipping slated for September.

Its name may be the Lindsay Small Shoulder Bag, but this structured flap handbag is anything but. Measuring 29 cm wide and 13 cm high, you can be sure that it fits quite a bit. From a long continental wallet to mobile phone and other essentials, making this a great contender for the grab-and-go.

It comes with a curved flap that’s ergonomic (no unnecessary elements jutting out) for underarm carry. Balenciaga has also added an extra crossbody leather strap. This will come in useful if you don’t intend on carrying it via the chain link shoulder strap.

By the way, don’t let the chic Balenciaga belt in the middle fool you. This serves as more of a decorative element instead of an actual strap function. The Lindsay Small Shoulder Bag opens via a magnetic closure. Within is a cotton canvas lining, with an inner zip pocket at the back.

Retailing at SGD2500 for the shiny smooth calfskin and SGD2650 for everything else, the bag guarantees to get you runway-ready at all times.
