Prada excels in making bags for the minimalists, and this latest style that’s simply referred to as the Saffiano Leather Shoulder Bag is no exception.

While the envelope-style front flap comes with the enamelled metal triangle logo, the rest of the bag is kept relatively simple and free of unnecessary embellishments and hardware, keeping it looking chic and sharp from every angle.

Measuring 21.5 cm by 14 cm, the boxy bag opens via the magnetic flap closure to reveal a spacious interior for daily essentials. It’s wide enough to fit most mobile phones and wallets, with an extra zipped pocket at the back to hold cards and other smaller bits and bobs.

The 110 cm chain strap allows you to wear it over the shoulder for a hands-free look, but you can easily remove it (just unsnap the lobster clasps at the side) to hold the bag like an oversized clutch for evenings and the like. Extra points must be given to Saffiano leather, a material known for its grained pattern that’s quite scratch-resistant which is always a plus.
