#CHANELMetiersdArt is an annual affair that celebrates the best ateliers in the industry, with the French fashion house working together with expert embroiderers, feather workers, goldsmiths, shoemakers and milliners to create the most exquisite pieces for the collection.
Chanel’s artistic director Virginie Viard took an urban approach to #CHANELMetiersdArt this year, and there are plenty of statement-making RTW and accessories to look out for once it officially launches in Singapore.
Of course, no Chanel collection is complete without bags, and the Vanity Case makes a glorious return with 2 sizes to choose from this time. The Small Vanity Case (SGD7120) measures 17 cm wide and 12.5 cm high, opening via a wide zip closure to reveal a spacious interior with 3 card slots tucked behind.
The bigger Vanity Case (SGD7750) stands at 20.5 cm by 16 cm, and Chanel has added 4 card slots and a long slip pocket, which saves you the need for carrying an extra wallet whenever you’re headed out.
Both sizes come with the leather-interlaced top handle and an accompanying shoulder sling, giving you multiple options of carrying the chic Vanity Case around town.
A quick check online has revealed that the bag will come in options like pink lambskin and navy blue patent calfskin, though a wider selection will be available at Chanel boutiques in Marina Bay Sands and Takashimaya Shopping Centre later this month.
