When it comes to classic fragrances for men, Chanel’s Bleu de Chanel is a legendary standout. The ever popular range for men, which first started with an eau de toilette back in 2010, offers three interpretations of the unique aromatic-woody signature for every type of wearer.

Each version has its distinct signature, with the key differences being concentration and intensity. The lightest is the first Bleu de Chanel Eau de Toilette, which is available in 2 sizes, 50 ml (SGD120) and 100 ml (SGD164).

Created by perfumer Jacques Polge, the EDT is all about a light and airy perfuming experience that bursts forth with a citrus opening before winding down to reveal a notable woody and aromatic concoction.

Then in 2014, Chanel launched its second Bleu de Chanel, the Eau de Parfum (SGD139 for 50 ml, SGD196 for 100 ml). Similarly created by Jacques Polge, the EDP is an enhanced version of the original that’s denser and more sensual.

Venturing into oriental amber territory, the perfume is known for its captivating trail. Expect notes of aldehyde and ginger alongside the warm and voluptuous aroma of sandalwood, amber and cedar, a blend which will keep you coming back for more.

Lastly, the Bleu de Chanel Parfum (SGD159 for 50 ml, SGD235 for 100 ml), the strongest and deepest of all 3. Released in 2018, this sophisticated composition by Chanel’s in-house perfumer creator Olivier Polge was the maison’s first foray into parfum.

Notes of geranium and lavender were added to enhance the elements of the original, for an experience that’s fresh, intense and delicate at the same time. To let its full richness come through, the parfum is best worn directly on the skin, like the neck and wrists, where it is warmest.
