Moynat’s Enveloppe PP & PC Are Underrated Gems When It Comes To SLGs…

As far as underrated SLGs goes, Moynat has a pair that should be more popular than they actually are. And here’s why.

Besides the fact that they don’t come with a single snap button or a zip closure, it is as effective as it gets when you need a simple leather ensemble for days when you don’t need to carry much out. Think folded cash and a couple of cards tucked neatly within the full leather ‘wallet’, if you could even call it that.

Besides having no problem fitting within your miniature handbags these days (it is that compact and small), the cleverly designed V-shaped flap is modelled after the maison’s heritage trunks, and it slips in neatly within the leather cut-out detailing like a folded envelope (and hence the name).

Moynat’s Enveloppe case actually comes in 2 sizes, with the Enveloppe PC measuring 10.5 cm wide and 7 cm high while the Enveloppe PP is slightly larger at 15 cm by 10 cm.

The unisex Enveloppe PC is designed to fit credit cards, folded notes and the like, while the Enveloppe PP is basically the same but holds way more. It can also double up as a passport case, which is great, especially if you prefer a case that closes tight to reduce the risk of any stubs or slips falling out accidentally.

Crafted in Moynat’s signature Taurillon Blush leather, prices are also really decent, at SGD430 and SGD505 for the Enveloppe PC and Enveloppe PP respectively. Even better considering it’s fully lined in contrasting coloured Taurillon Blush leather as well for a full leather piece inside and out.

In Singapore, the Enveloppe cases will come in bright chirpy colours like Capucine/Greige, Litchi/Zinc and Powder/Flamingo, to name a few. And with form and function covered, all you need is to head down and check out these underrated SLGS.
