Longchamp has been taking inspiration from everyday Paris of late, with the most recent being the Le Pliage Torchon line that features fabric more commonly seen on tea towels in bistros and cafes.
And today’s new additions take a similar-but-different approach, featuring an intricate cannage braiding seen on Parisian bistro chairs.
Known as the Épure bucket bag, its fully braided leather body uses leftover leather in a way that deserves a closer look. Each piece of art comes in colourful combinations such as Beige, Orange and Pale Pink, complete with matching leather handles.
Not only does the Épure bucket bag score top points for being eclectic yet fun, it also comes in a pretty roomy size measuring 22.5 cm high and 17 cm wide. All of your essentials can be kept neatly within the velvet cowhide (almost suede-like) lining, and you can use its top snap button to keep everything secured.
Priced at SGD815 each, these braided leather bucket bags are available online via Longchamp, as well as in stores right now.
