Just weeks before fellow Kering brand Gucci launches their own collaboration with Adidas, Balenciaga has jumped ahead and led the exchange with their own co-branded collection. What’s more, it is launched online almost immediately after Balenciaga’s Spring 2023 show that was presented at the New York Stock Exchange yesterday.

There are, however, considerable differences between both collaborations. While Gucci’s collection will be big on colour in a huge variety of RTW, bags and accessories that channel the best of the 70s, Balenciaga’s collaboration with Adidas is more current, with a focused emphasis on streetwear.

Expect hoodies and oversized tees, alongside baggy jeans, jackets and tracksuit pants. And then there are the sneakers, this pair of Balenciaga X Adidas Triple S Trainers that will be high on every fanboy’s wish list.

To be offered in White and Blue (both signature Adidas hues) with the contrasting 3 stripes mark, the pair is now available at SGD1550, along with a smattering of RTW, online via Balenciaga.

And here comes the most important point. The collection will be available only till 29 May 2022, so if you want in, the time is now.
